As we were researching the global water crisis, it became clear that to provide safe water, sanitation facilities and hygiene education for one person in India, for life, would cost just $100.00 US.
The spirit of change is in the air. America voted for change, and we know that the global community supports change, growth and progress. We believe that if we can get the global community together to support the idea of clean water for our globe, then we can experience the reality of a world that has access to clean water. Forever.
Imagine the possibilities:
Your school class holds a bake sale and raises enough money for a child to have access to clean water for the rest of his or her life. Your college dorm floor could support two or more families for life with the donations raised. Your book club could support half a village.
In fact, we broke it down like this:
| Provide someone with access to safe drinking water for life.
Meet the water needs of an entire family.
Provide a household water tap and toilet to a family in Gujarat.
Provide public water points and latrines to a village of 400 in Bangladesh.
Finance construction of a spring protection system for a village in Rajasthan.
Provide water hook-ups and toilets to 300 people in an urban slum in India.
